Senior Bid Writer

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Write and proofread responses for all stages of bids, supporting team members to ensure high-quality submissions.
  • Manage tender portals and communications with prospective customers, providing administrative support throughout the bidding process.
  • Keep the bid library up-to-date and organised.
  • Gradually build towards managing your own tender processes.
  • Provide ad hoc administrative support to the Head of Bid Management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Curiosity about service delivery and a keen interest in understanding how things work.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Proven ability to articulate responses clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to work overtime during peak periods, compensated by time in lieu.
