What will I be doing?

You will be part of a small, friendly team and will play an integral part of supporting day-to-day business operations including the daily financial and customer services operations within the company.

Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, and working with the Customer Services, Sales and Technical Support teams, the role includes:

  • Preparing and sending out customer quotations for products and service contract renewals, and updating the company CRM system.
  • Following up and logging activities for instrument breakdowns, including Filing Field Service reports and logging spare parts used on CRM.
  • Processing data into SAGE50 and spreadsheets, including Customer orders, Supplier purchase invoices and employee expenses.
  • Supporting Customer Services in receiving stock and despatching orders

What skills and experience are required

  • High level of IT skills, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Experience using accounting software, for example SAGE50.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, organisational and time management skills.
  • Conscientious and able to work efficiently with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Must be able to work on own initiative with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
  • Good at problem solving and logical thinking.

What else do I need to know?

This is a fully office based role on Milton Park, Didcot. They are looking for the successful candidate to work 25 hours a week over 5 days and are flexible on hours, as long as they are completed between 9-5.00pm. Other benefits include:-
