Our client is leading original equipment manufacturer and Staffbase have been appointed to recruit for the position of Parts Co-ordinator.
The successful applicant will be join a friendly team at our client's office near Abingdon.
The Role:
Reporting to the after-sales manager the parts co-ordinator will be responsible for general parts order processing and customer service duties which will include but not limited to the following;
Your duties will include but is not limited to the following;
- Process incoming telephone calls, emails and and parts orders from field engineers
- Produce and issue quotations for spare and replacement parts
- General customer service duties e.g. phone / email enquiries, complaints,
- Basic office administration duties
- Assist with picking, packing spare parts orders.
- Update SAP / SAGE ERP computer system
Candidate:
The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and candidates with previous experience in a parts co-ordinator type role would be beneficial however full training will be given.
You will have an excellent telephone manner and you will be confident in talking to customers and suppliers.
You will be organised, enthusiastic and hard working and you will have good all round IT skills. Applicants with SAP and /or SAGE experience will be beneficial.
Hours of work:
Monday - Friday 8.30am 5pm
