Our client is a leading distributor of products to the UK's catering industry and due to their continued success Staffbase have been appointed to recruit for the position of Sales Administrator.

This is an exciting new position for a candidate with previous sales administration or customer service experience who wants to progress your career in a sales focused role.

The Role:

The Sales Administrator will undertake sales administration tasks in support for the sales team
Your duties will include but is not limited to the following;

  • Effectively process incoming sales orders and customer enquiries by telephone, email and on-line
  • Accurate input of sales orders onto computer system
  • Sales order processing
  • Undertake daily telephone calls and emails to clients to ask for sales orders
  • Liaise with internal departments regards sales order progress and keep customers informed and up to date with progress.
  • Update Company MRP / ERP systems as required

Candidate:

You will have previous Sales administrator and /or customer service experience preferably in the manufacturing and or distribution sectors.

Applicants have excellent administration skills but will also be confident on the phone and comfortable with asking for sales orders.

Applicants will be highly motivated with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent IT skills essential and you will be familiar with Microsoft Excel, Outlook and use of MRP /ERP systems.

Hours of work:

Monday to Friday 8am-5pm
