As a Sales Administrator, your main responsibility will be to effectively communicate with different internal departments and provide administrative support to the sales department.

Client Details

My client, who are based in Abingdon, are looking to recruit a Sales Administrator to join their busy but fun working environment. They are a well-established and highly respected manufacturer who are a leading organisation within their field!

The Sales Administration team boasts over 59 years of working for the company between them, so they are a highly reliable team and support will definitely be provided.

Description

Key responsibilities of the Sales Administrator include:

  • Dealing with customer enquiries via telephone and email
  • Processing incoming purchase orders which includes liaising with the field based sales team
  • Analyse and apply Letters of Credit for bank presentations
  • Liaise with other internal departments to progress and make order processing efficient
  • Maintain & update CRM contacts database
  • Raising Debit/Credit notes when required
  • Produce third party commission forms for approval
  • Arranging and shipping of demo equipment and return of goods
  • Maintain demonstration stock database, annual stock take of demonstration stock
  • Collating various brochures to send out to customers
  • Assist with registration documentation
  • Maintain & issue customer pricing agreements
  • Deal with short shipments and customer complaints
  • General office administration - filing and archiving of sales orders/invoices

Profile

The successful Sales Administrator will have:

  • Previous sales administration experience (ideally export)
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Have experience working in a fast-paced, busy environment
  • Be a strong communicator, verbally and written
  • Be a team player
  • Have a positive approach to work
