Job Title: Technician
Location: Abingdon
Job Type: Initial contract until the end of the year with possibility of extension or permanent in the future
Early shift: £18 per hour - 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday (1x30 min lunch, 2x15 breaks) – 40 hours
OR Afternoon shift: £19.80 per hour - 11am to 8pm Monday to Friday (1x30 min lunch, 2x15 breaks) – 40 hours
Due to a busy period, a client of ours is looking for a Technician to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Abingdon due to expansion
The role of Technician will include:
- Operating production machinery
- Assembly, using a variety of hand tools
- Testing finished products
- Working in a clean room environment
- Carrying out inspection on products
The Technician should have the following skills and experience:
- Previous manufacturing and assembly experience is essential
- Clean room experience would be beneficial
- Good dexterity and attention to detail due to working with small products
- Able to follow processes
