Global People Director

Reed HR are proud to be exclusively supporting our innovative client in their search for a Global People Director to join their mission-driven organisation.
As a key member of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), you will provide strategic leadership in driving a world-class people strategy, shaping a scalable, innovative, and high-performance HR infrastructure across this organisation’s global operations.
As the Global People Director you will:
- Develop and lead the implementation of a global people strategy aligned with business goals.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and ELT on all people-related matters.
- Oversee HR operations and ensure compliance with global employment laws.
- Shape and maintain a high-performance, purpose-driven culture.
- Drive talent development and oversee learning and development programmes.
- Manage employee relations and lead change management initiatives.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion across the organisation.
- Develop and manage the global people budget in collaboration with the finance team.
- Contribute to ELT’s strategic discussions and keep leadership informed of HR developments.
- Engage in external benchmarking and continuous improvement within the HR field.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in HR or related field, or equivalent CIPD qualification (Level 7 minimum).
- Extensive experience leading global HR functions in high-growth environments.
- Demonstrated ability to work closely with senior leadership to shape organisational strategy.
- Expertise in change management and developing people-focused strategies.
- Experience managing teams across multiple countries with diverse employment laws.
- Strong command of HR systems and best practices for performance management and compliance.
- Proven track record of implementing HR technology solutions.
