Berry Recruitment are NOW hiring for a committed and experienced Paralegal to work for a Legal firm within their Private Clients, in Abingdon, Oxford.

Role: Paralegal

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum

Location: Abingdon, Oxford

Hours: Full time - Perm (09:00 - 17:00 Monday - Friday)

Key Responsibilities of the Paralegal:

  • Quickly respond to existing clients and new business enquiries
  • Administration including but not limited to audio typing, producing letters, forms and documents which utilise Case Management and IT systems
  • Drafting Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney with appropriate supervision
  • Preparing correspondence and documents as well as amending and formatting more complex documents
  • Ability to use the Land Registry portal to obtain office copies and submit straightforward Land Registry applications
  • Drafting documents relating to property dispositions with appropriate supervision
  • Assisting with Court of Protection Deputyship Orders
  • Generally assisting with probate and estate matters
  • Attending clients over the phone and providing assistance in a professional and friendly manner

  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Takes responsibility for their own work subject to supervision
