Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the setup, operation, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
- Monitor and inspect product quality during the production process.
- Perform routine checks and preventative maintenance on machines.
- Follow detailed work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Collaborate with senior technicians and engineers to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
- Record and report production data, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- A keen interest in manufacturing and hands-on technical work.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is desirable but not required.
- Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and safety.
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Relevant technical qualifications (e.g., NVQ, BTEC) are advantageous but not essential.
