The role as a Mental Health Teaching Assistant:

• Your main duty and role will be to support the students in the classroom.
• The support you provide will be either in a small group setting or 1 to 1.
• Your priority will be to ensure that these children have a warm and safe environment to come to everyday so that learning can take place.
• You will be supported by the class teacher and also have the advantage of being exposed to a multi-disciplinary team.

• Will have some experience working with children

• Will have a DBS certificate or be willing to obtain one
