We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Procurement Coordinator on a 12 month FTC to streamline our procurement processes and maintain relationships with our suppliers. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient acquisition of goods and services in our industrial/manufacturing sector.

Description
- Oversee the procurement process, ensuring timely acquisition of goods and services
- Coordinate with suppliers to negotiate contracts and secure the most favourable terms
- Work closely with the supply chain department to monitor stock levels and anticipate future supply needs
- Assist in the development of procurement strategies that maximise efficiency and cost-effectiveness
- Maintain and update supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, and potential future procurement deals
- Perform risk assessment on potential contracts and suppliers to ensure maximum value
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure procurement objectives align with overall company goals
- Conduct regular supplier performance assessments to ensure quality standards are being met
Profile
A successful Procurement Coordinator should have:
- Previous experience in a procurement role within the industrial/manufacturing sector
- Proven ability in supplier negotiation and contract management
- Strong analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with suppliers and internal teams
