Berry Recruitment are NOW hiring for a committed and experienced Reception Team Leader to work for a Legal firm in Abingdon, Oxfordshire.

Role: Reception Team Leader

Salary: £24,000 - £27,000 per annum

Location: Abingdon, Oxford

Hours: Permanent - Full time (09:00 - 17:00 Monday - Friday)

Key Responsibilities of the Office Administrator:

  • To oversee the daily operational activities of the reception desks
  • Ensure that agreed service levels are maintained and exceeded where possible
  • Produce, manage and operate the reception rota, including lunch rotas, sickness and future planned absences, planning cover and playing a flexible role to cover team absences when required
  • Deliver training to new receptionists ensuring they are given the skills needed to successfully carry out their role
  • Travel to each office to complete the monthly office checks
  • To work closely with and the Office Manager and undertake any delegated tasks
  • To support the Office Manager with appraisals and performance management of staff, including quarterly meetings with the reception team

About you:

  • Someone proactive who can lead, motivate and inspire the team to provide a professional client experience
  • Someone who can take initiative to create more efficient processes and implement new best practices
  • Someone who can provide guidance and support to the existing receptionist teams
  • Experience of working as a receptionist or front of house role
  • Experience of motivating and developing a team
