Our client is a family run business within the Medical Industry that are looking for a reliable and dynamic individual to join their warehouse on a permanent basis.

As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations of our warehouse, ensuring that products are handled efficiently and accurately. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy items, as well as a strong commitment to safety standards. You will be responsible for organising shipments, stocking shelves, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. In addition, you will collaborate with other team members to facilitate smooth operations and address any issues that may arise during the workflow

About the role:

As the Warehouse Operative, your responsibilities will include:

  • Receive and process incoming shipments and goods
  • Pick and fill orders from stock
  • Pack and ship orders, ensuring accuracy and quality
  • Organise and maintain inventory in the warehouse
  • Perform regular inventory counts and reports
  • Ensure the safety and cleanliness of the warehouse environment
  • Assist in loading and unloading delivery truck

About you as the Warehouse Operative:

  • Must have current Counterbalance fork truck licence
  • Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 25Kg)
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management software
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Basic math skills and ability to follow written instructions
