An exciting opportunity for a Frameworks Manger to join our senior management team based out of our Altham depot. Youll be responsible for delivering a portfolio of projects for our biggest clients in the water industry (Untied Utilities & Costain). Managing the day-to-day running of the framework, including submitting required client and internal reporting / monitoring requirements as well as the active business development of opportunities from theframeworks. Youll be the go-to contact for clients and responsible for business growth in the Northwest region.

Whats the role:

  • Lead the delivery of secured works and growth of Northwest Frameworks for United Utilities and Costain, reporting directly to the Operations Director.
  • Oversee project management, commercial aspects, design, engineering, and operations to ensure timely and on-budget project delivery.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, developing strong relationships with senior managers and delivering excellent service to exceed key performance indicators.
  • Drive business growth by understanding client needs, identifying new opportunities, and expanding workload within existing frameworks.
  • Ensure compliance with internal governance, processes, and CDM regulations while proactively managing health and safety.
  • Manage profit and loss, forecasting, resourcing, KPI reporting, and overall program management for the Altham business unit.
  • Lead client framework meetings, compile management reports, and oversee career development opportunities for team members.


What you will need:

  • HNC or HND in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering.
  • Hold appropriate qualifications in Project / Business Management and be able to display a sound understanding of relevant Legislation, CDM Regulations & duties, Programme, and NEC Contracts.
  • Have management experience and appropriate experience and a technical understanding of the M&E requirements in the Water Industry.
  • Be well organised, have excellent customer skills and be IT literate in MS Office packages including MS Project
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and time management skills, with a strong focus on customer service and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Require a full driving license and there will be an element of working away with the role as and when required.
