Bensons for Beds is looking for a new and experienced Group Services Team Leader to join our Support centre, with responsibility of leading the Group services team across our network.

Reporting to the Head of Commercial finance, this role will be responsible for leading the Group Services team and function to control the day to day running of the department. You will offer support on category plans and projects and ensuring the department is ahead of any requests.

So, what will you do?

Along with providing guidance and support to the Services Coordinator, you will own the retail facilities category and work on cost saving projects and initiatives. You will also manage the preferred suppliers and handle any performance related issues both day-to day and through annual review.

You will also:

  • Work with Retail teams to support with ordering of materials, equipment, new store openings and agree delivery times according to the set schedule.
  • Support the business with small and large event planning.
  • Work with the internal comms team, and the company intranet, to communicate campaigns to improve store and wider business behaviour.
  • Arrange new starter equipment, including but not limited to; Access passes, parking and uniform ordering.
  • Check invoices for supplied services and products and approve where appropriate.
  • Sense checks all supplier invoices
  • Manage Group Services credit card use sorting receipts
  • Own the company travel policy, supporting travellers and any ad-hoc requirements
  • Booking of internal travel across the business.
  • Work with Executive Assistant to accommodate when required
