This company are a family-owned, independently run and global design-led business who hold an impressive status as one of the world's largest furniture designers and manufacturers. They provide their services to a variety of sectors, including Education, Hospitality, Healthcare, Corporate and Home. They design and create furniture for some of the most known companies across the globe, including Google, HSBC, Jaguar Land Rover and Rolls Royce.

In this role you will be part of the company's fleet maintenance team to carry out associated service repairs and inspection works on the groups commercial (HGV and Vans) and Company Car Fleet. You will ensure all vehicles meet company and DVSA standards to ensure they're safe and road worthy. Some day to day tasks will include general engine repairs, fault finding, diagnostics, maintenance etc.

The ideal candidate will hold knowledge and experience of Mechanics and will be looking for technical progression within the HGV sector, while working for a long standing, renowned company.

The Role:
* Responsible for all vehicles throughout the company and ensure it's safe and road worthy.
* MOT preparation and presentation, licence inspections, general engine repairs, fault finding and diagnostics.
* 37.5 hour working week
*2 shift pattern options (either 7:55am - 4:35pm Monday to Thursday with a 1:55pm finish on a Friday OR 6am - 2:30pm Monday to Thursday with a 12pm finish on a Friday)
* Workshop is open on Saturday for 5 hours with the option to do overtime (paid at an enhanced rate)

The Person:
* Holds strong knowledge of Mechanics and able to problem solve when attending the occasional breakdown.
* Looking to gain training and experience with HGVs.
* Within commutable distance to workshop in Accrington
