Collaborating with key stakeholders, this role will include developing and optimizing special processes to boost durability and stress resistance; whilst ensuring that parts comply to NADCAP & AS9100.Essential Requirements
  • Degree or HNC/D within an engineering discipline and proven aerospace experience
  • Experience in a Manufacturing Engineering role within the Aerospace, Automotive or Medical Industries.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new processes and manufacturing techniques.
  • Ability to understand and communicate requirements of industry/international/customer specifications to the wider business.
  • CAD for fixture design.
Desirable
  • Experience as an ME or QE Special Processes in Aerospace manufacturing (Shot peening, Painting, Coating, Plating, Heat Treatment etc.)
  • Robot programming experience or qualifications.
  • Qualifications and experience with quality management tools such as PFMEA, 8D problem solving etc.
