KS1 Teacher

Rotherwood Education are looking for an experienced KS1 Teacher to join a Primary school in Accrington.Main purpose of the job:• Be responsible for the learning and achievement of all pupils in the class ensuring equality of opportunity for all• Be responsible and accountable for achieving the highest possible standards in work and conduct • Treat pupils with dignity, building relationships rooted in mutual respect, and at all times observing proper boundaries appropriate to a teacher’s professional position• Work proactively and effectively in collaboration and partnership with learners, parents/carers, governors, other staff and external agencies in the best interests of pupilsWorking at the school offers the opportunity to work within a culture of professional learning and reflection

• Hold a valid teaching qualification such as a PGCE, QTS or QTLS
• Provide details of at least two referees covering the last 5 years' work history
• Possess a current criminal record check (Enhanced DBS certificate that is registered with the online update service) or be prepared to apply for one as part of your registration
• Be committed to the safeguarding of children and young people
• Be willing to complete a face to face registration and satisfy several checks
