About the Role:
As a PPA Cover Teacher, you will play a key role in providing high-quality teaching across a range of subjects, ensuring that the learning experience for students continues seamlessly in the absence of their regular classroom teacher. This part-time role will involve working three days a week, and we are looking for someone who is adaptable, passionate about education, and able to build positive relationships with both staff and students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging lessons to pupils across a range of subjects and year groups, following the planned curriculum
- Provide support and guidance to students, ensuring their learning and development needs are met
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively, maintaining a positive and productive learning environment
- Work closely with other staff members to ensure a smooth and consistent approach to teaching
- Provide feedback to pupils and parents as needed
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding and pupil welfare
About You:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working in primary, with a strong understanding of the curriculum
- Passion for education and supporting the development of young learners
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students and staff
- A flexible and positive approach to teaching
