The Role:We are looking for an experienced and adaptable teacher to join our team for 2 days per week (flexible). This role will involve providing high-quality cover for class teachers during their PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) time, as well as supporting our Early Career Teachers (ECTs) by releasing them for their training and professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the school's curriculum and standards.
  • Work collaboratively with class teachers to ensure continuity of learning for pupils.
  • Support the professional development of ECTs by providing cover during their release time.
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-organized learning environment.
  • Provide constructive feedback to pupils and contribute to their academic progress.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience in primary teaching across a range of year groups.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in different year groups as required.
  • Commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of children.
