We're seeking a dynamic buyer to join the procurement team and drive cost-saving initiatives across our client's aerospace manufacturing operations. In this pivotal role, you'll analyse procurement data, develop supplier relationships, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise our supply chain.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform data collection and analysis to support strategic cost and performance improvement initiatives
- Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and participate in Long Term Agreement negotiations
- Collaborate with legal, technical, and financial departments on procurement projects
- Support the development and communication of Supply Chain key metrics and documentation
- Gather and share best practices for agreements and purchase orders
- Participate in Continuous Improvement efforts across the Supply Chain
- Assist in organising and facilitating internal team meetings and initiative reviews
What We're Looking For
- Experience with sourcing or purchasing (5+ years preferred)
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel
- Experience with ERP systems and electronic procurement
- Understanding of industry-standard terms and conditions
- Knowledge of raw materials, market trends, and pricing in aerospace manufacturing
- Understanding of traceability controls, quality requirements, and certification requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to influence in a matrix organisation environment
