We're looking for talented educators to join our network of schools in Accrington area, offering both full-time and part-time opportunities. Randstad Education offers competitive pay rates ranging from £120 - £150 per day.The role will involve adapting lessons and activities to meet the individual needs of each student, creating a positive and nurturing environment.

SEN (Special Education Needs) / SEND (Special Education Needs and Disabilities), as well as other needs such as SEMH needs (Social, Emotional and Mental Health). We are increasingly supporting children and young people with MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties) and SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties).

What You'll Do:

  • Developing and delivering engaging lessons
  • Differentiating learning activities to meet the needs of the individuals
  • Working collaboratively with other staff and external agencies
  • Delivering high-quality lessons tailored to the needs of children with special educational needs in younger years.
  • Collaborating with support staff to create a nurturing and engaging learning environment.
  • Using creative and adaptable teaching strategies to promote progress and well-being.
  • Building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
  • Completing lesson reports and providing feedback on the young person's progress

What You'll Bring:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a relevant degree.
  • Experience teaching within a primary school setting, particularly in Key Stage 2.
  • A strong understanding of the national curriculum.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and a passion for creating a positive learning environment for all students.
  • Empathy and the ability to connect with and inspire young learners.
