A Construction company in Accrington are looking to appoint an experienced Admin Assistant to join their team.

The Admin Assistant will play a key role in supporting the daily operations of a busy building contractor's office. This individual will provide administrative, clerical, and organisational support to the team and senior management.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: -

  • Reception Duties
  • Answering the telephone, transferring calls and message taking
  • Assisting Office Team in filing, record keeping etc, using appropriate computer software
  • Photocopying including plan printing
  • Keeping the Hardware Equipment Log up to date
  • Keeping the contracts list up to date
  • Printing all Supplier/Subcontractor Invoices
  • Filling digitally all invoices on Company folder
  • Inputting Invoices
  • Processing of payments
  • Collating & Logging timesheets
  • Collating Weekly site returns and recording data
  • Social Media Posts and collating site photographs
  • Case Studies & Updating reception case studies
  • Pre-Qualification Questionnaires
  • Internal newsletter
  • Co-ordinating & booking the Training
  • Updating the Training Plan
  • Uploading certificates

Key Skills:

  • Experience in a similar role
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
