Workshop Manager
Airdrie
Salary Between 拢45,000 & 拢55,000 Per Annum

Be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the workshop. To plan and load the workshop staff available to achieve maximum productivity. To ensure heavy goods trailers of the Rental Fleet and its customers' own trailers are maintained and repaired to a measured quality standard at both branch/workshops, on the roadside or at the customer's own premises.

Responsibilities:
路Maintain good workshop loading and prioritise repairs in line with the customer's and/or our business demands
路Minimise trailer downtime by identifying the most economical repair method
路Ensure all inspections, services and repairs are carried out in the workshop, on the roadside or at customer's own premises to a high maintenance standard within the company guidelines and to conform with all current mandatory & EHS (environmental health & safety) legislation
路Manage all workshop systems and processes as required
路Encourage good workshop practices to ensure a safe, tidy, hazard-free working environment and ensure compliance with the Company's EHS policy, procedures and legislation

Qualifications/Requirements:
路Previous experience of workshop management is an advantage for this position
路Must be "time served" technician or possess City & Guilds 1,2 & 3 Certificates or equivalent qualifications & experience and have a technical background/experience in trailer repairs
路Have a customer and team centric mindset and high level of professionalism
路Experience of managing a team is a distinct advantage
路Self-motivated with a high level of enthusiasm and good communication skills
路Good organization skills and attention to detail with ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
路Ability to work autonomously
路Confidence to pushback and question
路Analytical and numerical approach to interpreting data is an advantage
路Computer literate
路Proven admin skills
路Full and valid driving licence.
