  • Liaising with customers, updating them on their orders, dealing with internal teams to chase progress on orders, making sure everything is going to plan, working with the accounts department, chasing parts, raising despatch paperwork, dealing with the quality and engineering teams, uploading purchase orders.
  • Ensure data integrity of the orderbook by administering customer orders, schedules, amendments, and acknowledgements effectively within the sales order systems.
  • During the manufacturing process it is important to provide the customer with updates on progress at the agreed intervals to ensure that any changes to delivery are communicated effectively. The output of communication of this process is to maintain data integrity, ensuring orderbook is up to date, customers are informed, and delivery targets are met.
  • On completion of the Manufacturing process, responsible for raising documentation to allow parts to be shipped in accordance with customer requirements and ensuring on time delivery and compliance.
  • Linking internal communication channels for NPI, Quality, Purchasing, Planning, Operations and Sales.
  • Revenue collection - Ensure all outstanding accounts are being paid in full, along with accounting.
  • Manage and administer customer accounts, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date. Review and negotiate customer scorecards along with producing corresponding in-house KPI’s.
  • Support with customer complaints/returns by liaising with the Quality department ensuring processes are adhered to and communication with customer is maintained.
Senior Customer Account Controller/Team Lead Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
  • Strong experience dealing with manufacturing customers, and ideally liaising with internal teams too
  • Supervisory experience/experienced or strong senior customer account controlling
  • Well-versed with Microsoft Excel & Strong Maths and English literacy skills
