Astute's Nuclear team is partnering with a business experienced across decommissioning, waste management, and more recently engineering design, R&D, and refurbishment, site installation, and high-hazard decommissioning work packages to recruit a SHEQ Project Services Manager for its Aldermaston site.

Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the SHEQ Director you will:
- Lead and develop a team to provide expert knowledge across all projects in the UK.
- Manage and support technical development strategies/documentation for various construction, decommissioning, and waste management projects.
- Input on project compliance within contracts.
- Mentor and coach colleagues on compliance needs.
- Ensure inspections and internal audits are planned, actioned, and reported to senior leadership teams.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
- Project Management qualification such as Prince 2 or APMP
- NEBOSH Construction or General Certificate
- SMSTS or CSCS card.
Personal skills
The SHEQ Project Services Manager role would suit someone who is:
- A detail orientated manager
- Experience working within the construction sector in a highly regulated market (nuclear, defence, pharmaceutical, chemical manufacturing, or energy sectors)
- knowledgeable on CDM regulations
Salary and benefits of the SHEQ Project Services Manager role
- A salary between 50,000 and 60,000 depending on experience.
