A successful, well established Manufacturing company with a fantastic company culture, where you are given the tools and support to succeed. are looking for an experienced QHSE Manager to join their team: We are looking for an experienced Quality and H&S Manager that can be an extension of the board, with no 2 days the same you will be in a busy high pressured and vital role ensuring that quality of our products and the safety of our staff is your top priority at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Implement quality control procedures for all products and services.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO9001 and other relevant quality standards.
  • Ensuring staff are trained on quality control and H&S procedures.
  • Report on quality control monitoring: defect rates, reject rates, and customer complaints.
  • Develop and implement actions to address quality issues and waste reduction.
  • Ensure that quality control equipment are maintained.
  • ensure internal audits are carried out to ensure compliance
  • Oversee and develop the Quality team.
  • Collaborate with Directors and Managers to monitor business KPI's
  • Provide front-line support and guidance to the Quality Team.
  • build relationships with overseas suppliers, ensure that comprehensive quality control measures are in place,
  • oversee all H&S appointments inc. First Aid and Fire Marshals
  • test fire alarms and organise routine fire drills
  • Ensure certifications for all First Aiders and Fire Marshals are up to date and recorded
  • Maintain the accident book and keep first aid equipment fully stocked
  • Conduct investigations, implementing appropriate preventative measures and report accordingly
  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure they are reported and filed,
  • DSE Assessments
  • MOT and servicing of company vehicles
  • Ensure all new starters have completed a H&S Induction
  • lead regular site inspections and safety walks
  • implement and execute H&S plans

Required Skills

  • 5+ Years of H&S and Quality Control experience
  • Experience of working in a Manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrable experience of ISO 9001
  • Knowledge of ISO 14001 standards is desirable.
  • Knowledge of Environmental, Health & Safety regulations and safety programs
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
