Job Profile
Joining a collaborative team, you'll contribute to the production of high-precision components for clients within the aerospace and automotive sectors.
You will work as part of a team to produce precision spec components for clients in the aerospace and automotive industry, working alongside different departments to support production flow throughout the unit.
Duties:
- Responsible to set up and perform necessary lapping ops on inside and/or outside diameters of various precision parts using various measuring equipment.
- Provide assistance to all areas in the team when required (including lapping, polishing, straightening, deburring, part marking and cleaning of components)
- Cleaning of components prior to inspection.
- Ensure machines are operated according to site and manufacturers recommendations.
- Meet desired quantities, conducting in-process inspection and checking against drawings and specifications to ensure they are made accurately and to the highest standards.
- Keep the working environment clean and tidy and practise good housekeeping.
- Be punctual at all times.
- Adhere to the companys health and safety requirements and complete training as required.
- Work in accordance with the quality system and processes of the company.
- Coordinates with fellow team members, managers, and directors.
- Departmental and individual Key Performance Indicators (KPI)

Skills & Attributes:
- Experience in engineering and working in a similar field/industry would be beneficial. (training will be given)
- The ability to use a range of measuring equipment.
- Have excellent attention to detail.
- Be able to work effectively and efficiently to meet target deadlines.
- Hardworking, positive and a flexible attitude to work.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.

Hours of Work:
- 40 hours per week
- Monday to Thursday: 07:00 15:45, Friday: 06:00 13:00
- Overtime paid at time-and-a-half rate for approved additional hours.
