Turbo Driving are seeking reliable and skilled HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have experience in multidrop commercial driving up to 10 drops per day and will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and adherence to all driving regulations.

The company operates Monday to Friday but Saturday may occasionally be available as overtime. They distribute to all corners of the UK so an odd night out may be required on the longer runs (tramping is also available), we can also offer days runs with no overnights.

Duties

  • Ensure the secure loading and unloading of cargo, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required by company policies.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport.
  • Follow all traffic laws and regulations while on the road to ensure safety for yourself and others.

Qualifications

  • Valid HGV Class 2 driving licence with 2 years experience.
  • Valid Drivers CPC and digi card.
  • Upto a max of 6 points (no CD/IN/TT/DG/DR).
  • Experience as a multidrop driver.
  • Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in transportation.
  • Ability to use a smartphone app to record vehicle checks and route planning.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with team members and clients.
