The role is a fantastic business partnering opportunity with a progressive Finance Director in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The position offers a salary range of £65,000 to £70,000, along with benefits and opportunities for progression.
Candidates should have experience in manufacturing accounting and standard costing, along with exposure to ERP systems.
The role requires understanding and documenting costing procedures, including monthly and year-end processes.
A qualified or QBE Finance Manager with relevant experience is preferred for this position.

£200m t/o, privately owned, multi-site manufacturing business based North of Derby, commutable from South Yorkshire and Nottingham

Description

Plant Controller / FBP role to include understanding and documenting, year end, month end and weekly standard costing procedures, with the opportunity to grow and to add additional business partnering services to the group.

Update standard costs in the bill of materials
Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies
Understand Job variances, PPV's, Production recoveries
Validate the cost of goods sold as part of month-end close
Revise/review and provision obsolete inventory as needed
Report on periodic variances and their causes. And where applicable drivers i.e., split between price, volume and mix split between
Be the conduit between Finance and Operations to bring the monthly numbers to life and add operational value

Profile

You will be a qualified or QBE Finance Manager with a deep understanding of Manufacturing accounting, standard costing, and have considerable exposure to ERP systems.
