My client is looking to hire an IT Support Technician to join their Infrastructure team on a full-time basis. We seek an individual passionate about IT, eager to grow alongside the business and IT objectives set by senior management.

**Role Overview:**

As the IT Support Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing a comprehensive IT service for the Group to help achieve company objectives and business targets. Your responsibilities will include supporting and maintaining the company's IT network, servers, client devices, and security systems. This entails investigating and resolving network, server, and software issues, collecting IT usage stats, and recommending improvements to enhance the company's IT systems. Additionally, you will be involved in routine configuration and installation of IT solutions.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Conduct basic end user training.

- Create and maintain documentation in Confluence.

- Handle user onboarding and offboarding processes.

- Install and configure desktops, laptops, mobile phones, and tablets.

- Diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware issues.

- Repair and replace damaged/failed computer and network components.

- Provide support to individuals facing challenges with computers and network devices.

- Participate in project work assigned by the IT Management Team.

- Collaborate with 3rd party support.

- Manage stock of IT equipment.

**Key Skills and Competencies:**

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

- Basic networking experience.

- Familiarity with common network devices: Firewalls, routers, switches, and access points.

- Ability to handle cabling tasks.

- Methodical approach to problem-solving using tools like Google and ChatGPT.

- Strong interpersonal skills to engage with individuals of varying IT competencies.

- Effective written and verbal communication abilities.

- Dependable, punctual, and possessing a valid driving license with access to a car.
