- Servicing, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on specialist commercial vehicles
- Maintaining and overhauling vehicle-mounted pumps and fluid transfer systems
- Conducting fault-finding and diagnostics on both vehicle components and pumping equipment
- Performing preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure reliability
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with safety and regulatory standards
- Experience as a Maintenance Engineer, Vehicle Technician, HGV Technician, or Pump Engineer
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems
- Ability to work across both vehicle maintenance and specialist pump systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent in Engineering or Mechanics) – desirable but not essential
