This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading manufacturing business in the explosives industry, maintaining and repairing both vehicle systems and specialist on-board pump equipment.The Role: As a Vehicle & Pump Technician, you’ll be responsible for:

Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on specialist vehicles
Servicing and maintaining vehicle-mounted pumps and associated components
Conducting strip-downs, inspections, and rebuilds of both vehicle systems and pumps
Performing electrical and mechanical diagnostics to identify faults
Ensuring all work is carried out to industry safety and regulatory standards.

What We’re Looking For:

Experience as a Vehicle Technician, HGV Technician, Plant Fitter, or Pump Engineer
Strong knowledge of pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, or fluid transfer systems
Ability to work on both standard vehicle components and specialized pumping systems
A problem-solving mindset with a keen eye for detail
Any relevant mechanical or engineering qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds, etc.) would be a plus
