- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on specialist vehicles
- Servicing and maintaining vehicle-mounted pumps and associated components
- Conducting strip-downs, inspections, and rebuilds of both vehicle systems and pumps
- Performing electrical and mechanical diagnostics to identify faults
- Ensuring all work is carried out to industry safety and regulatory standards.
- Experience as a Vehicle Technician, HGV Technician, Plant Fitter, or Pump Engineer
- Strong knowledge of pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, or fluid transfer systems
- Ability to work on both standard vehicle components and specialized pumping systems
- A problem-solving mindset with a keen eye for detail
- Any relevant mechanical or engineering qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds, etc.) would be a plus
