JRS Associates have partnered with a leading engineering company in Sutton-in-Ashfield to recruit a skilled Workshop Production Technician.

The Package:
- Salary: £28,000 per annum
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Handle disassembly, inspection, cleaning, and reassembly of engines, transmissions, and other components
- Ensure testing and evaluation of completed units to guarantee product reliability and customer satisfaction
- Follow ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001) to maintain high quality, environmental, and safety standards
- Submit accurate documentation and maintain defect-free products and services
- Collaborate with the Parts team to identify and procure required components
- Support the daily operations of the workshop and achieve departmental targets
- Provide suggestions for operational efficiency improvements and promote good housekeeping
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in a mechanical and engineering environment
- Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills, particularly with engines and transmissions
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools, measurement equipment, and tooling
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Valid driving license
