SF Recruitment have partnered with a prestigious client who are looking for a Payroll Analyst to join them as soon as possible, and working until at least March next year. The business offer hybrid working, which typically is set out as 2 days in the office and 3 days from home. Purpose of the Role The Payroll Analyst will assist the Payroll Lead with the delivery of compliant and accurate payroll and pensions processing in partnership with our outsourced providers. The role will provide assistance to the delivery of the full payroll and pensions services as well as internal and external audit activity. Responsibilities:- Reviewing all employee records to determine payroll costs, including taxes, deductions, and benefits - Processing company payroll electronically using computer software - On request of the Payroll Partner, create reports on payroll trends to help management make decisions about staffing levels, pay rates, and benefits packages - Calculating employees' hours worked, including overtime hours, and entering this data into the system - Reviewing payroll records for accuracy and correcting errors - Reconciling payroll records with accounting records to ensure that all transactions have been recorded correctly - Communicating with employees about their payslips, including any adjustments. - Calculating payroll deductions and processing requests for pay increases or decreases, including voluntary deductions.
