SF Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity recruiting for a family run business in Alfreton who are looking to recruit a Buyer on a part-time basis. This is a critical role where you you will ensure cost-effective and timely procurement of direct raw materials, equipment, and services while maintaining quality standards. Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, you will play a key role in optimising the supply chain and building strategic supplier relationships.

This is a fast-paced role and suitable candidates will have previous Procurement experience and understand the processes.

Scope of role• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a purchasing role• Deep understanding of the procurement function and supply chain dynamics• Budgeting and organisational skills working with accuracy and attention to detail.• Strong negotiation, communication, and organisational skills• Excellent attention to detail• Good IT skills, including experience with Excel
