SF Recruitment are seeking a Temporary Procurement Assistant with a proactive attitude and the ability to hit the ground running. 

NG17, Huthwaite. 

£13-15ph dependent on experience. 

Temporary , 6-9 Months 

In this role, you will assist with purchasing processes, supplier coordination, and administrative tasks to ensure efficient procurement operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills and an interest in procurement or supply chain management.

Key Responsibilites:

  • Assist with processing purchase orders and maintaining procurement records.
  • Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotes, track deliveries, and resolve order discrepancies.
  • Support the procurement team with supplier management, including updating contracts and price lists.
  • Ensure accurate data entry into procurement systems and maintain up-to-date records.
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed.
  • Handle procurement-related inquiries from internal departments and suppliers.
  • Support invoice processing and liaise with finance teams to ensure timely payments.
  • Assist in sourcing new suppliers and conducting basic market research.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.

Skills Required:

  • Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, or administrative support (preferred).
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills for supplier and internal team coordination.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
