Responsible for the safe execution of concurrent projects for various Rolls -Royce sites. As part of the role the site manager must ensure that the projects are delivered to meet Integral & Rolls Royce’s standards in regards to safety, quality and programme. While complying as a Principle Contractor with current CDM legislation. This includes compliance with MS18 and CSO6 Rolls Royce standards. Site managers must be qualified in a related trade, mechanical, electrical, civil, buking fabric, roofing etc.

Accountabilities

· Provide Health and safety leadership to your site delivery team and promote behavioural safety improvements.

· Support the project risk management process and ensure effective controls are established to ensure the safe and timely delivery of the project.

· Support project opportunities were identified to realise, maintain and improve the commercial project performance.

· Promote and maintain effective client/stakeholder relationships to protect and enhance the companys reputation at site level.

· Support where required mandatory reporting of KPIs, GC/NM, accidents and incidents are carried out as per Integral and Rolls Royce procedures.

· To ensure our suppliers, sub-contractors and direct workforce follow company policies and procedures including Health & Safety, Quality Assurance and Engineering standards.

· Carry out regular toolbox talks.

· Carry out daily activity briefings with Rolls Royce & sub-contractors.

· Maintain accurate records of works done and expenditure reporting this information to the project manager where applicable.

· Liaise with the project manager to order general materials as required to complete the project.

· Co-ordinate all activities on site.

· Issue permits in compliance with CDM and CSO6

· Liaise with the Rolls Royce project Manager to ensure that the works are delivered in accordance with the workbook.

· Carry out regular site supervisor safety audits and report findings to the management / safety team.

· To ensure a high level of service is delivered and develop relationships with key stakeholders.

· Deliver projects to programme as set by the senior management team

· To lead your team to deliver the company’s “management expectations” successfully across all key areas of the project, managing and supporting the individuals and team that are under your control to meet and exceed business performance targets.

· To enhance the strength of contract delivery to ensure highest standards of quality are maintained in accordance with programme delivery.

· To ensure works are carried out to high standard complying with relevant British Standards and codes of practice.

· Provide trade knowledge and support if required to ensure the quality and performance of the works.

· Ensure projects are completed snag and defect free.

· City & Guilds /NVQ construction related qualification

· JIB / BESA

· CSCS Card

· 5 Years experience in the role of a supervisor/ site manager

· Sound level of administration and organisational skills

· Practical experience within the building industry

· Health and Safety experience

· Sound knowledge of computers software, Microsoft Office

· Ability to develop a good understanding of the customers’ business requirements

· Initiative
