Receptionist - Southampton - To 29,000pa

Are you an experienced receptionist with hospitality experience looking to join a reputable and values-driven organisation? Our client is seeking a professional and welcoming Receptionist to join their Southampton office. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a modern and dynamic workplace that truly values its employees and offers an excellent range of company benefits. As the first point of contact for clients and visitors, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless and positive experience as well as overseeing hospitality requirements.

Hours: 8.30am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Professionally greet and assist clients, contractors, visitors, and staff.
  • Manage incoming calls by answering, directing, and taking messages efficiently.
  • Handle incoming deliveries and coordinate package collections.
  • Organise and manage meeting room bookings, ensuring appropriate set-up with refreshments and equipment.
  • Oversee hospitality requirements for meetings, events, lunches, and seminars, maintaining high service standards.
  • Liaise with catering suppliers to ensure quality service delivery.
  • Uphold a high level of confidentiality and professionalism to enhance the overall client experience.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a similar role, preferably within a professional services environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Teams and room booking systems is advantageous.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a proactive, approachable, and solutions-focused attitude.
  • A stable career history.
