The Client, a leading transport planning and infrastructure design consultancy based in the UK, is looking for an enthusiastic Transport Planner to join the team. stablished in 2009, the company has grown rapidly and now operates from multiple offices, including Hampshire, Oxford, London, and Bristol.

Their team of experts provides a comprehensive range of services, including transport assessments, travel plans, traffic modelling, and infrastructure design. They work on diverse projects spanning residential, commercial, educational, and mixed-use developments, ensuring efficient and sustainable transport solutions.

The Position as a Transport Planner

As a Graduate Transport Planner, you will be involved in all streams of workflow supporting the Senior members of Staff! You will have the opportunity to contribute to several exciting projects from the planning through to design and delivery. The successful Graduate Transport Planner will be able to consolidate the core skill of becoming a successful Transport Planner.

Responsibilities for the graduate Transport Planner will include:

  • Assisting in data collection & analysis
  • Building transport model using various modelling tools
  • Planning and evaluating future transport schemes
  • Review drawing and documents Including Transport Assessments and Travel Plans and assisting the preparation of reports, presentations, bids and proposals.

Essential Requirements of a Transport Planner

  • A degree in a related subject (MSc in Transport is desirable)
  • Experience with preparing transport statements, Assessments, Travel Plans and Construction Traffic Management Plans and inputs to Environment Impact Assessments.
  • Use of TRICS database
