This role is essential for developing and delivering comprehensive transport strategies that will shape the future mobility landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and delivering area-based transport studies, including marketing, communication, and engagement
- Creating transport strategies, such as the clients Transport Strategy and contributing to the development of the WYLTP
- Contributing to the development of Mass Transit and the Southern Gateway
- Conducting strategic transport modelling
- Developing schemes, including business case development and input
- Supporting the development of the Local Plan
- Providing public transport advice on bus services, quality contracts, rail service and station development, and MRT development
- Offering transport policy input to planning applications
Job Requirements:
- Extensive experience in transportation planning
- Strong understanding of strategic transport modelling
- Proven ability to develop and deliver transport strategies and schemes
- Excellent communication and engagement skills
- Ability to provide coherent transport policy input to planning applications
- Experience in supporting the development of local plans
