Job Description
Syntech Recruitment are currently working with a client that are looking to expand their
engineering team and hire an Systems Integration Engineer. This is an exciting time to
join the organisation and get involved with the existing product development and become a
valued member of the team.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Understand and program using serial protocols
- Experience of being able to interrogate servers and databases
- Identify and evaluate new technologies to enhance the company's product offerings
- Document technical work comprehensively and present findings to both internal and external shareholders
- Provide technical support and integration assistance for existing software and systems
- Organise and manage tasks efficiently
- Engage in hands on activities
- Communicate technical information clearly, both verbally and in writing
- Interrogate servers and databases to support product development and troubleshooting
About you
- Proficiency in programming with a good knowledge of backend development and REST API's
- Strong understanding of working with serial protocols- RS232, RS485, MODBUS, SD-12
- Experience with server database interrogation- MongoDB, Access, SQL
