A dynamic and innovative packaging supplier is seeking a Payroll Administrator with experience of large data sets on a part time basis for 6 months. As a payroll administrator you will play a pivotal role within the complete payroll process on a daily to monthly basis.

Salary: £12.00 to £13.50pm

Hours: Monday to Friday - hours to be confirmed at interview stage

Your main responsibilities are will be;

  • Capture and consolidate payroll inputs for onward processing by third party payroll agent which includes new starters, leavers, employee detail changes, variable pay components and SMP/SPP/SPL.
  • Responsible for running reports from the Time & Attendance (T&A) system to perform a review and reconciliation of pay adjustments.
  • Manage employee payroll queries in a timely and efficient manner, working in partnership with HR where necessary
  • Identify potential input errors in T&A system, providing feedback to relevant department manager(s) and provide guidance where necessary to ensure ongoing accuracy
  • Reconciling payroll and pension balance sheet accounts
  • Support on pension administration including the preparation of monthly contribution submissions
  • Support line manager on improving payroll processing, adopting a continuous improvement mentality

To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate the following;

  • Previous experience within a similar position working with large data sets
  • Experience working with multiple IT systems concurrently
  • Strong Excel capability
  • Experience in payroll processing
