Role Overview:
The Letting Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the property management department, ensuring smooth operations, and implementing strategies for continuous improvement and growth. This leadership role requires a proactive approach to managing a team, optimising processes, and enhancing client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Team & Operational Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the property management team to achieve high performance and engagement.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Oversee daily operations within the property management department, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Implement efficient processes and best practices to streamline operations.
Growth Strategies:
- Identify and develop growth opportunities within the property management sector.
- Collaborate with senior management to create and execute strategic plans for departmental expansion.
Performance Monitoring:
- Set and monitor KPIs for the department, ensuring targets are met and identifying areas for improvement.
- Prepare regular reports on departmental performance and operational efficiency.
Client Relationship Development:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, tenants, and other stakeholders.
- Handle escalated issues and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Market Analysis:
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to inform business strategies.
- Conduct regular reviews of rental prices and property performance.
The Individual:
- Proven experience in property management or a similar role within the estate agency sector.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Dynamic and forward thinking to deliver growth and a high performing culture
- Excellent understanding of property legislation and best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement operational strategies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
