Job Overview

Our client is seeking a Senior Residential Support Worker for one of their children's homes in Alton. In this role, you will:

  • Plan, manage, and lead shifts, ensuring children are safe and engaged throughout the day.
  • Take a lead role in ensuring the care and welfare of each child in placement.
  • Ensure that each child's Placement Plan is followed and adhered to at all times.
  • Provide guidance and support to all Residential Workers.
  • Supervise designated staff members, recording this in their Supervision Sheet.
  • Raise any concerns with the Registered Manager as appropriate.

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Children's and Young People Workforce.
  • At least 2 years of experience in residential childcare and working with young people.
