The role requires a qualified accountant with over 5 years of experience in senior finance positions, such as Head of Finance or CFO, preferably within an SME environment.
Key responsibilities include developing financial strategies, overseeing budgets and forecasts, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Our client is a growing £10m turnover professional services company, seeking an experienced and strategic Fractional (or Part Time) Head of Finance to join the leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned finance professional to have a significant impact on our financial strategy and the operations.Role Overview:The Head of Finance will be responsible for providing high-level financial oversight, strategy, and guidance to the company. You will work closely with the leadership team to support business decisions, optimize financial performance, and ensure strong financial control and reporting. This role is ideal for someone with significant experience in finance and a passion for helping SMEs grow. Key Responsibilities:Lead the development and execution of the company's financial strategy to support its growth and business objectives. Oversee the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans, ensuring alignment with business goals. Monitor cash flow, working capital, and ensure the company remains financially healthy while optimising profitability. Ensure the timely and accurate financial reports and analysis to the CEO/MD and leadership team. Skills & Experience:A qualified accountant with proven experience (5+ years) in a senior finance role, such as Head of Finance, Finance Controller, CFO, or Finance Director, ideally within an SME environment. Strong experience in financial strategy, reporting, budgeting, cashflow management and forecasting.
