Main Areas of Responsibility

  • To increase enquiry numbers and achieve growth across a dedicated patch of accounts
  • To increase the number of referring consultants in the patch
  • Act as a main point of contact for consultants, working alongside Agency Support to deal with all agency queries
  • To maintain a record of existing accounts, record account/consultant profile information/ activity and competitor insight on the Sales CRM
  • Follow up with all consultants in the patch regularly to ensure their needs are being met
  • Identify cross-sell opportunities
  • Account map medium size agencies to identify key stakeholders within each
  • Deliver online umbrella and legislation training to consultant where required

Management

  • Effective leadership and management of the team
  • Oversee day to day operations for all team members activity and KPI’s
  • Set clear goals and objectives in line with growth expectations
  • Provide regular feedback, coaching, objective setting and performance evaluations to optimise productivity
  • Monitor team performance and report back to Sales Director on a regular basis
  • Discover training needs and provide coaching
  • Promote a strong team culture, recognising high performance and rewards accomplishments
  • Raise the organisations online social media profile

Other

Attend face to face agency visits, and some hospitality where required

Location & Commitments

  • Full time, permanent position (37.5hrs per week)
  • Office based - 4 days per week (Altrincham), 1 day working from home
  • Some travel required for client visits where necessary

Role Criteria & Experience Required:

  • Proven experience in a B2B sales environment
  • Experience in working towards daily call KPI’s & sales targets

Desirable

  • To have worked in a similar role where the expectations split between sales and team management
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Experience in exceeding call targets
  • Superior organisational skills, with ability to work independently with minimal support
  • Experience in working with and maximising usage of internal systems and Sales CRM system
  • Proficient in Microsoft office and the ability to analyse data effectively
