We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Legal Coordinator to support our clients in-house Legal and Credit team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in coordinating workloads, drafting and checking legal documents and ensuring the smooth progression of cases through to completion. Key Responsibilities:
  • Hold daily meetings with the Legal & Credit team to prioritise tasks, track progress and ensure loans are funded and completed on time
  • Review legal documents to make sure they meet standards
  • Oversee pre-completion checks and track Land Registry registrations
  • Understand case details to manage priorities and deadlines, ensuring smooth case progress
  • Prepare Completion Deduction Statements 
  • Train internal and external staff on legal documents and help improve processes 
  • Use the CRM system to create documents, track case progress and communicate updates
  • Act as a liaison for solicitors and underwriters to speed up completions.
  • Providing case updates and follow up on documents
  • Send post-completion letters to borrowers and guarantors after loan completion and assignment
  • Attend feedback meetings to suggest improvements and ensure quality in daily operations.
Key Skills & Experience:
  • Proven experience in a legal coordinator, legal secretary or paralegal role, ideally within a conveyancing or property-focused environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in legal documents and compliance with regulations.
  •  Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal teams, solicitors and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, manage deadlines, and work under pressure to meet completion requirements.
  • Expert user of Microsoft 365, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience using CRM systems for document generation and case management is advantageous.
