My client, an industry leading logistics client based in Altrincham are looking to recruit a receptionist on a part time temporary to permanent basis.
Salary: £23,400 pro-rataPart Time Hours: 2.5 days a week - Wednesday 12:30 – 17:30, Thursday & Friday 08:00 – 17:30 (24 hours per week)Â
My client is seeking a professional and courteous Receptionist to join their team in Altrincham. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our visitors, providing a warm welcome and ensuring a smooth and efficient reception experience.
Duties:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner, ensuring all staff and visitors are signed in and out.
- Answer and direct phone calls promptly and efficiently.
- Manage incoming and outgoing post and couriers.
- Perform general administrative duties, including data entry and using Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Maintain the coffee machine and ordering coffee supplies.
- Order and maintain general office supplies, such as stationery.
- Manage petty cash and ensure accurate records are kept.
- Monitor the standard of cleaning provided by the cleaners and report any discrepancies.
- Keep the reception area clean and tidy at all times.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask.
- A friendly and professional demeanour.
- Experience in a receptionist or similar role is preferred.
