About the Role:Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a passionate and skilled Food Technology Supply Teacher to join a small technology department from Monday, 3rd March for at least 4 weeks. This full-time role will involve teaching both practical and theory-based Food Technology lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students. The school ideally requires a Food Technology specialist capable of delivering practical lessons. However, if you are a qualified teacher of art or technology subjects who can deliver theory-based lessons in food technology, they will also consider your application.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver Food Technology lessons to students in Key Stage 3 and 4.
  • Provide practical lessons where students engage in hands-on learning experiences.
  • Deliver engaging theory lessons
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour in line with the school's expectations.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive teaching environment.

To be successful in this Food Technology Teacher role, you will need to:

  • Hold QTS Status or QTLS.
  • Have a proven track record of delivering engaging and effective lessons.
  • This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional reference checks.
